So my birthday and my blogiversery falls on the same day! Happy birthday to both of us!
I'm 19, and my blog is officially one year old! This past year has definitely been the best of my life, backed by friends, family, and those who love me. It's been a year of constant change, but one that's been a growing experience. I'm so incredibly thankful for all of the new friends that I have, and I'm definitely looking forward to the next year. What can I say? It's a free 365-day trip around the Sun! Now, if it were all-expenses paid. . . . . . .*sly grin*
As far as my blog goes, I love it. I love sharing ideas, concepts, and experiences, and I love hearing from you guys. I love staying in contact with old friends (both RL and OL), and having the opportunity to make new ones. I love looking back and seeing how things have changed, and how some things have stayed the same. That's the funny thing about change. . . . . . . . day to day, absolutely nothing changes, but when you look back on it, it's all different.
As part of an overhaul, I'm going through and tagging everything. I didn't start tagging things consistently until December 2009, and I'm the kind of *cough cough* OCD *cough* type person who needs things to all line up. Plus, I like things to be categorized. Expect that my "tag cloud" located near the bottom of any page on my blog will be growing, morphing, and changing shape. This process has already started, and I suspect it will take awhile.
Out of the past 365 days, I have, at this blog, made 351 posts. Out of the past 365 days, I have talked to KYOTKGUY 283 of them. (Every single day since the day we first talked, minus one, and that one was TOTALLY my stupidity. . . . . . although I did have a little help. *cuts eyes towards Ella*) Out of the past 365 days, I have spent 215 days in Kentucky, 79 days in Colorado, 42 days in Alabama, 9 days in Indiana, 6 days in Tennessee, 4 days in Florida, 3 days in Illinois, 3 days in Panama, 2 days in Virginia, 1 day in North Carolina, and 1 day in California. There is absolutely no telling how much of that time I spent on the road, although I could puzzle it out if I sat down long enough with my journal. Out of the past 365 days, I've been spanked on way too many of them. Out of the past 365 days. . . . . . . 365 have been memorable in varying forms and fashions.
Thank you for your part in making both the past year, and this blog, a success. *takes a bow* And, oh, by the way. . . . . . . Leave me a comment. Who knows what could come of it?

Congratulations, happy birthday, and whatever else I missed, hehehe...I'm very happy that I can count myself amongst your friends. Although I'm wondering...am I a new old friend, or an old new friend? :-P

ReplyDeleteI hope it's around for many years to come, as well, Daniel. LOL It's only one. . . . I don't care. :-D

Thank you so much, again, and huge hugs,

Hehehe....when I hear the term 'old friend' I never know if they are referring to the length of time they've known me, or the fact that I'm of a somewhat advanced age... :-) So am I a new friend that happens to be old, or a...well, ok, the second part makes no sense...
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday and Happy Blogiversary. Sounds like today(according to above post) was really special!! Neat how you tracked your year. I'm sure this year is filled with even better things to come.
ReplyDeleteIt was awesome, Jean. Thank you so much for the well wishes. . . . . . and I'm sure it will, too. *hugest hug*
ReplyDeleteMy Dearest Kea,
ReplyDeleteI would like to interject. Perhaps I DID get a little carried away and made us super late on that last night when I disappeared, however, on the note of not contacting KY, *cough cough,* is there something we might be leaving out? ;)
I'll give you a hint: There were four of them :)
Oh, hush, Ella. You didn't think about them either. As a matter of fact, the thought never OCCURRED to you until we were in Georgia.
ReplyDeleteI still blame you. :-D *huge grin* After all, that's what really good friends do.
:) hey, now! I was using them!!! (the bell boy was actually looking me funny because I refused to sit down on the wooden chair! Instead I decided to squat:). But after Gary and Marc got a hold of me, who can really blame me, eh?) :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, but yes... a certain.... friend... of ours w/ his "annoying" toppish mind wasn't going to let us get away w/ it, huh! *shakes head* I don't see myself getting away with too much in my future :)
LOL. . . . . YOU were using them, and didn't find fit to tell me. . . . . or to leave me a roomkey so I could use my, you know, laptop, or, you know, plug in my phone. :-D
ReplyDeleteHeh. . . . . no. . . . . I don't think either of us have gotten away with much of anything since. *huge grin* Maybe some War Eagle jokes, no?
