Life Rocks!!!!!
Not much to say, other than. . . . . LIFE ROCKS!!!! :-D Welcome home, kid. So I got to thinking early this morning (couldn't sleep lol). . . . What if Harry Potter's world actively employed corporal punishment? I don't mean when Ron (Harry's best friend) was five and George (Ron's older brother and resident jokester) had the holy fire spanked out of him because Mr. Weasely was scared out of his wits that George almost managed to get Ron to make an Unbreakable promise. . . . which, if broken. . . . . the party involved dies. Ok, so, anyways. . . . . . think of the ramifications of spanking at Hogwarts (the Wizarding school). I'm POSITIVE a whole new realm of spells, related to spanking, would crop up. . . . or, if not crop up, old spells would be used in new ways. For instance, one to block pain. . . . . one to grab implements. . . . . . one to keep a wriggly child in place. . . . . one to throw your spanker out the window. . . . . you get the idea. The world of spanking would be in for quite a shock! :-D

ReplyDeleteWe need a Harry Potter expert, which I'm not. I have only seen the movies, not read the books, so I missed the story about Fred and George and the Unbreakable Vow.
ReplyDeleteFilch USED to be allowed to torture the students. He makes reference to detention once consisting of being hung by one's thumbs.
And Umbridge uses that nasty pen for writing lines that etches the line in the flesh of the opposite hand as the students write.
I'm sure there is FanFic on every possible permutation of the Potter universe, so naturally there are Potter spanking stories. It took almost no time to find a directory of them. From the summaries they seem to be mostly M/m. I don't like M/m and I doubt I'd like FanFic (from what I've heard it's relentlessly self-indulgent), but if anyone is interested, here's the link: http://partial-eclipse.net/discipline/

Wow, among your many other achievements, you are a Harry Potter nerd. I will therefore assume you have remembered and reported all CP references in the books. I did stumble across a description of Filch carrying a bullwhip with him on his hall patrols during the Umbridge administration, but I might be remembering wrong.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure which of the female characters I'd most like to see spanked. A number of them are very attractive, but they live in such a dangerous universe already that spanking them seems like "piling on." Hermione, Luna, Cho, the sisters Parvati and Padma, Ginny, the sisters Fleur and Gabrielle -- wouldn't mind seeing some of the ACTRESSES spanked, but the characters have been through enough already. As for the adults, despite the many fine actresses, few of them seem spank-worthy to me. Umbridge DESERVED it, but I wouldn't want to watch her get it. Tonks is about the only grownup in the Potter universe cute enough to spank. Unless we count Madame Rosmerta, a very minor character in the movies so far (maybe there's more of her in the books), just because, Julie Christie, even in her 60s, is a remarkably beautiful woman.
I have a feeling I'm forgetting some, though.
