No jokes tonight. . . . we just got back from meeting with SD. I had an amazing time meeting him, and I really, really like him. He's a soft-spoken Southern gentleman. . . . but he's got that authoritative spark. He doesn't NEED to demand respect, because there is an auora about him that automatically commands it. While I did have a good time at the meeting, it wasn't all fun and games. . . . not even close. Both Jess and I got spankings. I won't speak for her, but there are three things I walked away from that meeting with.
1.) Procrastination isn't worth it.
2.) Take care of yourself.
3.) Do not drink and drive.
He showed me a couple of pictures of an atrocious wreck, and he gave me one hell of a lecture. . . . I will not drink and drive, for any reason. He put over his knee (in a blasted armless chair) and used a hairbrush. . . . .then, he stood me up for a paddling. Now, it didn't approach the worst that I've been given, but he didn't go easy. Finally, he put me back over his knee for an intensely painful session with a leather paddle. I'm used to leather; Steven has a leather paddle. . . . This was different. Vastly different. It immediately caught my attention. As we were leaving, he pulled me into his arms and gave me a hug. He also left us with a final admonition. . . . . He wasn't going to tell us to stay out of trouble, but he did let us know that we were to BE SAFE. Period. Anything less, and we'd answer for it tomorrow. "Have fun, but be safe."
We had some plans in mind for tonight, but in light of the activities earlier (a.k.a., a trip to SD's (the River)), we might potentially change them. We're both impulsive, though, so no promises. We will be safe in anything that we do, though.
Why does the word "Knucklehead" come to mind?
