So I'm running a bit dry on inspiration tonight, but I figured I'd stop by and wish everyone an insanely awesome weekend!
On the plus side, I am insanely, insanely giddy. :-D I get to see KYOTKGUY tomorrow. *does kea dance* Tomorrow, I'm sure I'll have plenty to write about.
I discovered a new blogger today, and her name is Bethie. She has a post that I was curious about, and said post can be found here.
She has a couple of quotes that stood out to me, and that I'd like to share.
"I give him my submission and he gives me a hand to hold onto no matter what. He gives me the support I need to go out into the world and be the person that I am. He supports me in every way and by that, he allows me to flourish because I know I have a rock solid foundation to hold me up and a man who loves me completely and without reservation behind me every step of the way. . . . I have given him the right to take me in hand when I need it. He knows this is a special gift and he’d never abuse it. He’s always been very consistent so I don’t ever have to wonder where I stand with him. I know what my limits are and I do my best to stay within them. He knows what to do if I start slipping and brings me back on course. I appreciate that because it makes me feel safe and keeps me centered. "
It's always amazing to find someone else who can write your feelings. :-)
*does jessa dance* only a few more hours :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous, Kea...I only hope someday I'm lucky enough to find that connection in my life. At my age it feels like I'm starting to run out of time...
ReplyDeleteBonnie, I'm thrilled to have discovered her little corner of the world!
ReplyDeleteJessa, *dances happily* I can't wait!
Paul, It definitely is great to have friends who back you up. I'm over joyed! :-D
Andy, There's plenty of time, my friend. *cocks head* Sometimes, the best things in life seek YOU out, and not the other way around. What's meant to be will be.
Well, I'm in the midst of making plans to visit someone in early April...the trip to Pittsburgh I've mentioned before? Trouble is, even if we do 'connect' well, there's that pesky 1000 miles apart issue...
ReplyDelete*softly* True love knows no bounds, Andy, nor does it see state lines. It stretches and bends to connect two hearts meant to be one. What's meant to be will be.
ReplyDeleteI do hope you are right, but I also have to be practical...gas is almost $3.70/gal here. Driving to Pitt every few weeks or whatever would be expensive, hehe...
ReplyDeleteBTW...leaving Pitt on like the 5th and don't have to be back to work till the 9th ...[huge evil grin]
*raised eyebrow* Hehehe...I think you know what I'm needling you about but just don't want to admit it, LOL...I am planning on taking a longer route home just so I can add Kentucky to my map..as I told you I've never been in KY before. I'm sure my brief visit would be made more memorable by...ah, nevermind...[evil grin]
