Alabama Insanity
Well, Jessa and I seem to have a thing for the first day or so in Bama. . . . a thing for getting in HUGE trouble. Yes, I know, we said that we'd never say, "It'll be worth it" again. *sigh* Here we go. . . . We are sitting in the Panera parking lot, preparing to head to Tuscaloosa. . . . . to the Bryce Mental Hospital. It's this incredibly creepy, old, desolate horror film type building that used to be an active mental hospital. State funding in Alabama was HORRIBLE for psychiatric care, and so, needless to say, some real atrocities occurred. There are all KINDS of stories about this place . . . . and we're going. Period. Is there gonna be a price to pay? Hell yeah. However, we're ready to roll. Like we told an amazing friend of mine, "It's not dangerous. . . .persay. . . . but it is illegal. . . . and we'll be careful. . . . " He didn't make us tell him what it was. . . . . but he did tell us to be safe. We're taking another friend from Bama. . . . . and we're ready to rock. Let's get this party started! I'm driving down there, and from there. . . . . what happens will happen! We're totally excited, and ready to experience what many have called, "A night you'll never forget. . . ." We're taking a camera. . . . pictures, and a follow-up blog, to follow.
